Chandrabanda Health Camp
Department of general medicine Health camp was conducted today 09-07-25 in chandrabanda camp PHC.
Various patients were screened by, General Medicine, paediatric, OBG, optimology and Physiotherapy department and coordination with Community Medicine Department.

· OBG Department Health Talk and Influencer meeting was held on 16.1.2025 Thursday in Digital Library-N.E.T Campus,
· Health Talk and PPT Presentation by Dr. Veena of OBG Department, Dr.Nandini reddy of pediatrics and Dr Kiran of General Medicine.
· Briefed about the departments and services, facilities available in NMCH and RC at Quality Treatment at an Affordable Price to RMP doctors, Asha workers, Panchayath Members, PDO, and Anganwadi workers etc.
• Health Talk and PPT Presentation by Dr kanchan &Associate Prof of Opthalmology Department,
• Briefed about the departments and services, facilities available in NMCH and RC at Quality Treatment at an Affordable Price, How to manage patient related issues, Symptoms, Patient care service and treatment briefed to RMP doctors, Asha workers, Panchayath Members, PDO, and Anganwadi workers etc
Blood Bank, Navodaya Medical College Hospital & Research Centre, Raichur
As per the directives of the DAPCU, to commemorate 77th Independence Day, a Mega voluntary blood donation camp was conducted on 15thAugust 2023, at Indoor Stadium, Mahatma Gandhi Stadium, Raichur, from 9AM to 5PM. Under the able guidance and support of Shri. S.R. Reddy Sir, Honourable Chairman, NET, Blood Bank,NMCH&RC participated in this noble cause.
The camp started with a brief inaugural ceremony in the presence of Dr. Sharanprakash Patil, Minister for Medical Education, Karnataka State, Shree Chandrashekar Nayak, Deputy Commissioner, Raichur, Shree Durgesh, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Raichur, Dr. Surendra Babu, DHO, Raichur and Dr. Mohammed Shakeer, DAPCU Officer, Raichur.
The team from Navodaya Medical College and Research Centre made all the necessary arrangements for the blood donation camp which was attended and motivated by Dr. T. Srinivas, Registrar, Navodaya Education Trust, Dr. Devanand B., Dean/Principal, Navodaya Medical College, Dr. A.S. Aanand, Vice Principal, Prof & HOD Department of Pathology, NMC, Raichur, Dr. Mallikarjun, CEO, NMCH&RC, Dr. Narayan Pedlikal, RMO, NMCH&RC and Dr. Shivakumar, Assistant Professor, Forensic Medicine & Toxicology, NMC, Raichur.
After the inaugural function, voluntary blood donation camp was conducted, in which Mr. Nikhil B., Superintendent of Police, Raichur was the foremost donor followed by Navodaya Paramedical Interns, Navodaya staff and other voluntary donors.
Dr. N. Prasanna and Dr. Shruti K., Medical officers, Mr. Narayan, Blood Bank Technical Supervisor, Mr A. K. Dinesh, Blood Bank Technologist, along with a team of 30 members comprising PGs, interns, Nursing, Paramedical students and counsellors were actively involved in the smooth conduct of the camp. A total of 35 blood units were collected from voluntary donors.
A Certificate of Appreciation was issued to all the voluntary Blood donors in presence of the dignitaries.
The conduction of the entire camp was successful & hassle free and was highly appreciated by the authorities involved in this event.
